In 2007, after a series of individual events spanning 14 years, Flutterby FUNdraisers came together as a group to help raise awareness of cystic fibrosis (CF) and raise funds for medical research into the condition.  The members of the group come from all walks of life and team work is at the very heart of the charity.

One of the founding members has the condition, together with other friends, colleagues and families on the committee who have a direct connection with CF.  Having such a personal understanding of CF, as a group they know that research into finding a successful treatment that will help all, regardless of gene type, is so vital.

The charity is made up of volunteers and they make sure that your money is spent wisely.  They liaise with the UK Gene Therapy Consortium to ensure that any money raised is directly spent on research.

They respect and value each and every person who chooses to fund raise on the charity's behalf to support the CF community and they will try to provide as much support as they can for your event/fundraiser.

They have had some good fun over the last few years and have met some great people along the way.  They are grateful to everyone for their help and support - from individuals who make donations or support the events by generously giving up their spare time or hard earned cash and also to the larger companies who provide sponsorship and backing.  They couldn't do it without you!  Here's to many more fun packed events!
